The Quest to 63 - National Park #1 - Big Bend

The quest for Link and I to visit all 63 national parks together begins for Austin and Link the adventure cat during their move from Austin, Texas to Denver, Colorado. During this trip we stopped at our first 5 parks throughout Texas, New Mexico and Colorado beginning with Big Bend National Park in East Texas. Unfortunately, due to the heat Link and I weren't able to explore the park too much, however, we were able to enjoy scenic drives throughout the park, picnic lunch and some short hikes. While you're visiting this park you can see the rivers that cut through the ancient limestone to develop the spires there today and the diverse population of plants and animals.
